The NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Safeguarding and Prevent is a nationally recognised qualification designed to develop learners' knowledge and awareness of safeguarding principles and the Prevent Duty.

This qualification explores the importance of safeguarding individuals from abuse, harm and exploitation, including the risks associated with radicalisation and extremism. It also covers online safety, recognising signs of abuse and understanding how to respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns.

Learners will gain an understanding of safeguarding responsibilities in environments where individuals have a duty of care, such as education, healthcare, social care and community settings.

Assessment

  • All assessment evidence must be submitted in English
